Grief is the sneakiest feeling there is!

It comes in unexpected ways.

A broken heart,

A regretful love,

And somehow, it comes in threes.

A forgotten date.

A familiar smile that I look at  in the mirror

A supportive like that meant he remembered me,

A division, a divorce,

A question that lead to a vocation

That was not only in my dreams.

People that left imprints,

That left memories, stars, music.

Six years, three days, a few hours ago...

And tears, and pain, and hurt.

And waiting until the wave goes back to the sea,

Preparing for when it comes again.

Cherish the love you have…

The love that lives beside you

The love that lives inside you

The love that lives through you

The love you have for you, for others

The love you have for God

And the love God has for you.

Cherish the love you have

And believe, with all your heart

That someone loves you…

And that you matter.

Small churches are frail.

Small churches are a miracle.

Small churches are dependent.

Small churches are faith filled.

Small churches are at death's door.

Small churches are vital.

Small churches are dysfunctional.

Small churches are the best of families.

Small churches are aspirational.

Small churches are inspirational.

Small churches are invisible.

Small churches are visible.

Small chuches look inside.

Small churches impact outside.

Small churches are individuals.

Small churches are communities.

Small churches live in extremes... but progress is never linear.
